Sometimes it’s even simpler and you don’t even need to threaten to leave, but rather just ask if there are any current promotional deals that you would be qualified for.
Individual results will vary of course, depending upon your payment history, the length of time you’ve been a customer, and your current plan. In other words, how valuable you are to the company.
If you have a history of late payments, disconnections for non-payment, or if you’ve only recently signed up with the company, you’re less likely to be offered a promotional deal.
